Celebrating Small Businesses on SBDC Day

At Koble we believe in supporting small businesses which are the lifeblood of our economy. We have chosen to support the ASBDC on SBDC Day this coming March 20th, 2019. It gives us a great reason to celebrate the small businesses across our nation and locally in our community. This is SBDC’s third annual national celebration that praises the success and impact that America’s Small Business Development Centers have.

SMBs are the cornerstone of America, representing 99.7% of all companies in the nation. More than 99% of U.S. employers are small business owners, and about 543,000 new businesses are started each month. SBDC Day is a wonderful opportunity to be thankful for the businesses that make up our community.

SBDCs are great tools for small businesses across the country. They’re hosted by leading universities, colleges, state economic development agencies, and private partners, and are partially funded by the U.S. Congress through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Between their widespread footprint of nearly 1,000 local centers and their funding resources, small businesses can benefit from these development centers nationwide with no-cost business consulting sessions and low-cost training to new and existing businesses.

“The work SBDCs do across the country goes hand-in-hand with our mission at Koble. Through our platform, we’re also a resource for small businesses in developing relationships with large companies, helping to channel more revenue to SMBs,” said Fabrice Saporito, Founder and CEO of Koble.

The economic impact America’s SBDCs have is astounding, also working to distribute more of the wealth to small businesses across the nation. With their help, $100,000 in new sales are generated by SBDC in-depth clients every 7.5 minutes. On top of that, $100,000 in capital is obtained by SBDC in-depth clients every 8.9 minutes. Unemployment rates are also lowered thanks to a new job being created in the U.S. by an SBDC in-depth client every 5.6 minutes.

“SBDC clients give their SBDCs 4.5 out of 5 stars and 92% of SBDC clients recommend their SBDCs to other small businesses. With nearly 40 years of expertise, proven ROI and stellar client ratings, it’s clear that America’s SBDCs are the nation’s most trusted small business resource,” said Charles “Tee” Rowe, President and CEO of America’s SBDC.

With this, we hope you join us in celebrating this holiday on social media and in your personal lives. Utilize the hashtag #SBDCDay across your social media platforms, and share the impact SBDCs have had on your company, along with how you believe small businesses impact their communities.
